Olga Svensen, Sven’s childhood sweetheart and life-time companion, stands in front of their newly acquired sod-roof cabin near Kløfta (right and below), a suburb to the northeast of Oslo. “
Sven and I yoost luf our noo cabin, it iss a tream coome troo. Gott iss gud too uss,” replied Olga when asked about the Svensens’ new abode.
Sven and Olga were lucky, their cabin has windows, some of their neighbors’ cabins don’t.
