Sven is leading the crew and passengers of the Starship Plungerprize in a sing-along as the ship passes by the moon enroute to Mars. To save fuel, the ship is being accelerated by the gravity of the moon which will act as a slingshot to propel the Plungerprize toward its rendezvous with the red planet.
In the upper right we can see the view coming in from the rear of the ship, looking back at the earth.
Controlling the operations of the Plungerprize is the Hulga 9000 Computer. During the lunar fly-by, Sven and the Hulga 9000 spent some time discussing the Mars mission.
“Vell, Hulga, how are yoou tooday?”
“Vell, Sven, I am as fine as a coompooter can be.”
“Yah. Dat’s goot. Yah.”
“Yah.”
“Yah.”
“Yah.”
“Yah, shoor.”
“Yah.”
“Vell, ve’re gooing too Marss.”
“Yah.”
“Yah.”
“Yah.”
“Yah. Vell, I got too goo und sveep oop der animal cages.”
