This is Mars Base Alpha Mission Control with an update on the terrible events that have recently occurred during the attempted return to earth of the Plungerprize II.
As the starship prepared for trans-earth insertion to place it on a trajectory back to earth, time-space disturbances were encountered here at the base and also onboard the ship. Shortly thereafter, all communication with the Plungerprize II was lost as was radar tracking.
The image at the top of the page was captured by the Hubble Space Telescope during the period of time the ship disappeared.
At this time neither the whereabouts nor the fate of the Plungerprize II crew is known. We will monitor the situation and bring you more information as it unfolds.
